- Let's Dream Big -
In 2017 and 2021, it was the honor of my life to be elected and re-elected to Troy City Council, in the city where I was born, raised, and educated.
During my two terms, I have fought to bring a new chapter of ethics and accountability to City Hall.
I hope you’ll choose me to continue moving Troy forward.
AS YOUR CURRENT COUNCIL MEMBER,
I WILL CONTINUE TO:

CHAMPION ETHICS & TRANSPARENCY
When I first ran for office, I knocked on thousands of doors and residents told me they had lost trust in Council. When I was elected, I fought for transparency and an overhaul of our ethics policy. Today, the Council is collaborative and respected. I’ll always stand up for you and work to strengthen our reputation.

RESPECT RESIDENTS & OUR GREEN SPACES
At the doors, residents also expressed their frustration with over-development. Once elected, I supported the creation of a subcommittee focused on protecting green spaces in Troy. I’ll always listen to you, especially when evaluating development.

GET TROY THE LIBRARY IT WANTS AND DESERVES
Together we opened the library 7 days a week, after a decade of services being underfunded. Now it's time to invest in a new library building that our city deserves.

INVEST IN PARKS, TRAILS, & GATHERING PLACES
During my term, we upgraded our parks, and our trails program is well underway. I’ll continue to support initiatives that bring our community together, while ensuring your hard-earned tax dollars are spent wisely.

STRENGTHEN OUR FINANCES
We as a Council have worked hard to lock in Troy’s financial strength. As a former member of Troy’s Pension and Retiree Healthcare boards, we’ve made smart, long-term investments, saving the city millions and securing our AAA bond rating. Our day to day financial status is strong, but our long term needs have grown since our last major investment in 1999.

SUPPORT OUR POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS
Troy is one of the safest cities in the state and that’s due to our hardworking police and fire departments.

SUPPORT OUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY
Troy is the second largest business-hub in the state, and it provides a third of our property tax revenue. I'll continue to work with Troy's 6000 businesses to keep our status as an economic powerhouse.
